Our Vision

Made New Thrift Store is an extension of our ministry here at the Valentine Methodist Church! It is our hope that through the generosity of others, we can help fill the needs in our community. Our mission is to meet our community where they are, offering a valuable service for the very real needs that we see around us every day. The Made New ministry will be focusing on not just the needs of our community, but its many assets as well, connecting volunteers and skilled people to places where they can invest their gifts and talents into their community. We believe that we have a call from the gospel to recognize the inherent value in all people, and walk along side of those that God has put in our path, offering them Christ through building lasting relationships that benefit us all.

Fill a Need!

"We believe that every person deserves respect and dignity and has unique talents bestowed by God. We invite you to share what yours might be! Consider these questions: What are three things you're comfortable teaching to others? What aspects of your life are abundant enough that you’d like to share with others? For example, do you enjoy cooking, or are you a devoted prayer warrior? Perhaps you excel at listening or have a talent for gardening. We believe everyone has something valuable to offer, and we want to assist you in sharing your gifts!"

Once Made New Thrift Store is open we will be pairing people with needs to people with possible solutions. In the meantime, we would like to learn more about those who are willing and available to help others.

Thanks for Sharing!
