The church is not all that she could be. Sunday mornings come and go, and as powerful as church can be, it feels like something is missing. Envision the adventure that Paul and Barnabus had in Lystra and Derby, addressing the Athenians on Mars’ Hill, where is that in today’s church? Where is the adventure? Where are those incredibly intimate, soul-stirring connections? Where is the fruit of a Holy Spirit-filled ministry?​

​       There is a story in the Old Testament about a man named Naaman. Naaman had leprosy and was going to die. He sought out supernatural healing from the God of Israel. Upon arriving in Israel, Elisha told Naaman to go dip himself in the Jordan River seven times. Naaman was angry, he thought that his big problem was going to require a big solution. He almost didn’t do what Elisha told him h​​​​im to do, but on the advice of his servant, he went to the Jordan, and on the seventh time he came up completely clean. -2 Kings 5​

       The Church is suffering from a severe case of leprosy: apathy, consumerism, superficial faith, a challenging culture, and an aging congregation. We may label it differently, but statistically, the church has been dying in America for decades. Every year, the numbers get worse and worse. We urgently need a solution empowered by the Holy Spirit.

       The contents of this course are not complex. It presents nothing new. Every element of the Disciple Makers course comes straight out of Scripture. Whenever these techniques have been put into practice, the world has been transformed. Perhaps it is time to see the world turned upside down in our time, in our land, by His power, for His Kingdom.

       The Disciple Makers Program is designed to equip each believer with the tools to be effective in God's Kingdom.
